RIICCM202D Identify, locate and protect underground services
This unit covers the skills and knowledge required to identify, locate and protect underground services in Civil Construction.  Using a cable locator is one method of locating underground services which is demonstrated during this course.  This course also covers the process of seeking information from Dial Before You Dig.
 
 
COURSE OUTCOMES

On completion of the course you will be able to:

  • Plan and prepare for identify, locate and protect underground services
  • Locate underground services
  • Conduct housekeeping activities
 
If successful you will receive a Statement of Attainment and plastic card to keep in your wallet to show competency.
