“After many years in auto manufacturing I aimed for a new career. I completed my Certificate II in Civil Construction, and obtained my Skid Steer and Roller ticket. The trainers are excellent, with plenty of first hand knowledge they readily share. I finished my training on Friday, had inductions and medicals, then started my new job at Tron Civil Contractors the next Thursday! With the right attitude, and hard work, Civil Train will give you a foot in the door into the Civil Construction industry.”

Steve Dobbs, October 2013.

“Through gaining my certificate II in Civil Construction and many other qualifications at Civil Train, I have gained valuable experience in civil construction which helped me stand out among many candidates to where I gained employment today and am completing a Certificate III in Civil Construction!"

Alex Dale, October 2013.

“I must say that CCF is in a league of its own. I’ve been talking to a friend that has taken up a similar certificate to myself but through a different company, and all he has received is a headache. CCF has so much to offer with state of the art facilities at their disposal and lecturers that have a wealth of knowledge and experience within their respected fields. I did the Certificate II Civil Construction and feel as if the Certificate gave me a broad insight to an industry I knew very little about. I now find myself working full time within the civil industry and feel without Civil Train and the CCF I would still be looking for employment. Same with Mel Simcock, put in your all and she will go beyond any expectations to assist you to find work within the industry. If you have the chance to go through a Certificate or just an individual ticket, my advice would be to “put in your all” and “to be a sponge and soak up all that they have to offer”. Thank you Mel and to all the lecturers at CCF, you gave me the opportunity to not only make a career change but also gave me the insight to what to expect on a real job site.”
