Civil Train SA is a WorkReady Training Provider.
 
WorkReady replaced Skills for All on 1 July 2015.   WorkReady is a South Australian government initiative that brings together funding for training, employment and skills activities.
 
Courses available for funding subsidy under WorkReady will vary from time to time.   Therefore, please contact Civil Train on 08 8111 8001 to find out more information about current fee help that is available for the course you are interested in.
 
 
Eligibility:
 

You may be eligible for a government subsidised training place if you either live or work in South Australia, and you are:

  • an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or
  • a permanent Australian resident, or
  • the holder of a an eligible visa
 

You also need to be one of the following:

  • aged 16 years or over and not enrolled at school, or
  • aged 16 years or over, enrolled in school and undertaking training through the Training Guarantee for SACE Students (TGSS), or
  • undertaking training through a training contract as an apprentice or trainee in identified courses.
 
Some courses have additional eligibility criteria that you have to be over 17 years old.

Entitlement:
 
Depending on your previous qualification history, and the course you want to apply for, there may may be restrictions on your entitlement to subsidised training
 
Civil Train SA will discuss how enrolment conditions may affect your eligibility when you enquire about enrolment. 
 
Enrolment Conditions:
 
Some qualifications will have enrolment conditions attached.  You will be advised of these when you enquire about enrolment.
 
Fees:
 
Please refer to the Fees and Refund Policy and Fee Schedule for more information about the breakdown of course fees, incidental fees and concessions and exemptions criteria.
 
Eligible students who are or have been under the Guardianship of the Minister for Education and Child Development in South Australia or State/Territory equivalent, will be eligible for an exemption of the Student Course Fee.  Contact the WorkReady Infoline (1800 673 097) for more information.
 
Student course fees and optional incidental expenses are indicative only and subject to confirmation at the time of enrolment.
 
Eligible participants only have certain entitlement under WorkReady so always make sure you have made an informed decision about undertaking the course before you enrol.  Once you have used your WorkReady entitlement, you may not be eligible for further subsidy.
