CITB Subsidy

Civil Train SA is approved by the CITB to deliver subsidised training.  If you work in the civil or construction industry, and are eligible, this can significantly reduce the cost of your course. You can find more about the CITB here.
  • The Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) provides funding to holders of the CITB Training Card to make training more affordable and more accessible to the South Australian Building and Construction Industry.  Training is provided by CITB Approved Registered Training Providers throughout the State both in Metropolitan Adelaide and Regional South Australia and funding takes the form of a discount to the retail price of a training course.  If you have a valid CITB Training Card you can up-skill/cross-skill at a discounted rate.
  • Each eligible course will show a CITB price.  If you are eligible, select this price.  You will be required to provide your CITB number at the time of booking and your place will not be confirmed until we have verified your eligibility.  Please see our Fees and Refund Policy regarding terms and conditions for CITB funded places.
  • Construction workers can access up to $3,000 worth of training fee subsidies in any given 12 month period.

  • To receive a CITB training fee subsidy the apprentice/trainee must have a CITB number and a valid Training Contract with the SA Government.  Tuition fees subsidies are paid directly to the RTO and are reimbursed to the fee payer.  Your employer will also receive financial incentives to assist with the cost of your off-the-job training requirements with the RTO.
  • The apprentice/trainee can claim up to $3,000 worth of training fee subsidies in any given 12 month period.
