Environmental Awareness for C/C Projects

Course Objective

This course will provide construction workers with the knowledge to identify environmental issues associated with their activities and best practice methods to minimise environmental impact. It will also outline environmental legal obligations relevant to construction activities.

Elements

• Recognise possible environmental impacts and damage resulting from the individual's work activities on construction projects
• Identify accepted current environmental management best practices for individual workplace activities
Identify situations which require further advice about appropriate work practices to minimise environmental damage

Target Groups

Employees who work on road construction projects whose activities may impact on the environment.
DTEI Construction Contracts require at least 2 people on site to have undertaken this training.
