SA Water Pipe Laying is back!

For some time, Civil Train customers have been asking when Civil Train SA would be re-establishing the SA Water approved pipe laying course.

To respond to industry’s needs, the course training material was reviewed, re-developed and the first ‘revised’ course ran at CCF House in September 2015.

This course provides the knowledge required to install water and sewer infrastructure. The course meets the requirements of the SA Water technical requirements for Pipe Laying for PVC work in accordance with the SA Water infrastructure standard manuals for water and sewer.

It is a requirement for SA Water approved contractors to have attended this course and a refresher is required to be done every three years. Working closely with SA Water, Civil Train ensures the content is kept up to date to meet the changes that occur in the water industry.

Scheduled courses are available at Civil Train’s Thebarton’s facility or customers are more than welcome to call or visit to discuss with us onsite training which may be more suited to your business needs.

Civil Train SA was looking to purchase a range of pipes and fittings to conduct the September course when Ben Davy, Branch Manager and James McNickle, Field Marketing Manager from CCF SA member company Reece Civil came to Civil Train’s aid and supplied the first batch of fittings.  Reece Civil has a large facility at Wingfield suppling plumbing and civil fittings to the industry and welcome your calls to discuss your pipe and fitting needs. They are a recognised leader in their industry with a very strong service culture.

It is wonderful support like this from our member companies that allows Civil Train to remain at the forefront of the training industry and remain a fresh and vibrant training resource.

For those clients with a training need that Civil Train may not currently service, please contact us to discuss; we are always on the lookout to develop new training packages to meet your requirements.
